ELLA BLEU OPENS UP ON THE CATWALK!

The unveiling of Ella Bleu's newest store location was filled with an eventful evening of fashion, shopping and lots of Ella Bleu fun! The night started off with a super sweet children’s fashion show that showcased Ella Bleu’s newest addition to its store, Baby Bleu. All of the children were sporting fashionable fall and winter pieces that were nothing short of classic Ella Bleu style! The children’s show was followed up by the women’s fashion show, which turned out to be a showstopping event that kept heads turning all night long! The ladies were strutting their stuff down the runway donned with fashionably chic ensembles reminiscent of New York and LA fashion.

The store was exquisite with a grandiose crystal chandelier that dropped directly in the center of the store reflecting rays of glittering light that enveloped you into the whimsical world of Ella Bleu. All that glittered was everything from the glass vases to the silver pillars down to the candles that were adorned with beautiful petit jewels that dangled over the tops. The night was absolutely magical as Ella Bleu proved that they are soaring to new heights and serving as a beacon for all fashionistas in Colorado and beyond. Congratulations to you Ella Bleu!

EXTRA! EXTRA! Read All About Ella Bleu!

Ella Bleu Boutique-

A little of who we are & how we came to be

What do two married fashion models do when they are ready to stop jet setting around the world and move on to a more stable way of life? They move to Colorado, South Park that is…buy a 160 acres of land that can be used for absolutely nothing because it is so dry and arid, build a house anyway and then realize that they miss the city life and the world of fashion. So, they pack their bags, move to Denver, and open a boutique filled with all the beautiful things that had inspired them while traveling around the world for so many years.

From the moment you enter the world of Ella Bleu, you are enveloped in the luxurious aroma of their signature Gardenia candles. Crystal chandeliers cast a warm golden glow and the sounds of Louis Armstrong, Edith Piaf and Michael Buble’ lure you past the exquisitely decorated tables displaying every delicious girly gift and sumptuous beauty product you can dream of. As you glide past the home décor section, you can no longer restrain the idea of redecorating your home in the attempt of recreating this homage to romance. Two arches divide the duality of the female desire between beautifying thy home or thyself and as you reach the area devoted to fashion, you realize there is little left for your heart to desire. Lush handbags, dresses, pants and tops all timeless in their design. Yet the best part of your journey through Ella Bleu would be meeting the people who work there. Known for their laid-back approach, you will instantly feel like you have known them forever. Don’t be surprised if one of the owners, Kim or Thierry, waltz up and tell you all about their son Enzo or asks you about what exciting event is happening in your life, and believe it or not, they really do want to know! By your next visit, as you reenter the Bleu, I can pretty much bet you will be greeted with a genuine “Hello, so good to see you again!” greeting. That’s just the way it is at “The Bleu.”

A few designers carried; Beth Bowley, Louis Verdad, Trina Turk, Rebecca Taylor, Bianca Nero, Susana Monaco, Autumn Cashmere, JVL, Zooey, Cris, Butterfly Dropout, Twisted Heart, Johnny Was, Chaiken, Gavin, Earnest Sewn, Paige, James, AG and Aristocrat.
Intimate apparel; Hanky Panky, Cosa Bella, Underglam, PJ Salvage and Lounge Act.

Established in September 2003, Ella Bleu quickly built a reputation and following by consistently providing their customers with wearable fashion that could actually translate into the customer’s everyday life.
In September 2007, Ella Bleu will celebrate the Grand Opening of a second store in the prestigious area of Greenwood Village, Colorado. With over 2000 sq. feet, the first floor is dedicated to home décor, gift and women’s fashion, and 800 sq. feet on the second floor mezzanine that will be devoted to Ella Bleu Baby carrying sizes from newborn to six years of age, baby products, diaper bags and great gifts!

Did you know that Ella Bleu is really green?

Everyday, businesses like ours are shipped boxes within boxes of goods that are packed with Styrofoam, plastic wrap, newspaper and mail that really add up to a lot of waste. Many businesses are just too busy to separate each item, break down all the boxes and bring them to the proper recycle bin.

At Ella Bleu, we know each and every person, home or business has a responsibility to the future of our planet and our children. We do our very best to recycle anything we can and make it easy for our customers to do the same by using 100% recyclable shopping bags. Please recycle any bag that you receive from Ella Bleu or simply drop them off at the boutique and we'll be happy to reuse and/or recycle the items for you! Be sure to ask the businesses you like to support do the same. A little extra time and effort can make a big difference for our beautiful world!

About Us

A Few Words From The Owners of Ella Bleu Boutique:

Kim & Thierry

These days it seems like everyone owns a boutique or at least thinks they want to open one. I suppose the reason I find this interesting is because in almost any other profession you typically require some kind of education or degree. This would then indicate that you deserve the authority to advise people who come to you for the services that you offer, that you do indeed know what you are doing. The desirable world of fashion however has no such requirements and thus has bore gazillions of boutiques all over the country of imparting advice to innocent individuals who hand their trust over to some sales person who tells them “OH! That looks faaaabulous on you!” when in fact it is shocking and horrific. They sell these unassuming customers the “must have trends” that only 1% of the population can wear,(and by the way, that 1% are supermodels and movie stars) and that the rest of the average women(meaning: I work full time, drive carpool, cook, clean and do laundry all in one day) cannot actually translate to her everyday life.

All the fashionistas are probably cursing me now, thinking “oh, great, some mother who went to fashion school who owns a boutique…” and all the “average women” are cheering…”whoa hoo! One of us!” In fact I am both. I was from the age of 15 a model who traveled around the world for 17 years of my life completely enveloped in the world of fashion. I worked with some of the worlds most famous designers and photographers shooting some of the most well known magazines, campaigns and commercials. You may not know my name, but my face probably has looked back at you at some point over the years as you contemplated your purchase or while you watched TV or while you casually flipped through your latest magazine or catalog.

Today, I am a boutique owner, working full time to run and manage a growing business. I am also a wife to a man who has also been a model for 14 years and owns and runs our boutique with me. Together, we are the proud parents of a precious baby boy. Does that give me right to impart my opinion on the innocent who wander into our boutique? Perhaps it just gives me the ability to take fashion trends and styles from make believe to reality. My background in the modeling industry had constantly put me in the “next big thing” before they actually reached the public. I would, just like everyone else, get home with this new “must have piece” and not know how to make it work with anything else in my closet. Over the years, I managed to accumulate more and more of these odd pieces that worked just fine on our photo shoot, but without a stylist to dress me, they suddenly made no sense. Today, my over all fashion style is based on the classics that always are in style and are accented by the trends that come and go. I believe that when I spend a decent amount of money, I should be able to wear something year after year without some magazine telling me the look is out just as I finally figure out how to wear it. I want to look beautiful, fashionable but do so in comfort and look appropriate without having to second mortgage my home or sacrifice my sons college fund. I am not sure, but I have a feeling there are plenty of women who feel the same way. I have attempted to remove the confusion and clutter from this world of fashion that can be at the very least overwhelming to most and leave you with the knowledge that I have attempted to filter out what usually is safe to skip. Fashion should be enjoyable, but often it is stressful especially when mistakes cost money. We have created Ella Bleu to put the fun back into fashion. I hope I have captured your interest and we hope to build your trust. In the mean time remember, of all things you wear, your smile is the most beautiful!

Sincerely,

Kim Inghilterra
